Inspired by the fractal geometry of tree branches, this lace pattern increases in complexity and detail as the shawl grows in size.

sizing	medium (large): 60" across by 26" in length (68" by 30") *** finished size will vary depending upon gauge, yarn and needle choices, and how aggressively the lace is blocked.
materials	600 (800) yds lace weight yarn samples shown in SweetGeorgia Wool/Silk Lace in 'cypress', and Plymouth Ecco Cashmere in 'natural / undyed'
gauge	26 sts / 4" in stockinette stitch
needles	US #5 / 3.75mm or as required to meet gauge. 24" minimum circular needles
notes	Pattern instructions are charted. All wrong-side rows are simply purled.
